Oct 2023 – Every farmer in Huron County has a favourite colour; our resident Brian at Seaforth LTC and Retirement Community is John Deere green. Brian loves to talk about John Deere, likes to watch John Deere shows and owns some John Deere replicas and clothing. He enjoys reminiscing about his years on the farm and the equipment that they would use for different jobs.

Brian and his wife Donna met at a Junior Farmers dance in Sebringville and had their own farm, which is the same farm that Brian grew up on. Brian has had the dream of going to the John Deere dealership in Exeter, Huron Tractor Ltd. ever since it was built in 2012. The team at Huron Tractor Ltd. provided Brian and his wife with a guided tour of the facility, a slide show specifically made to welcome Brian to the site and a lovely gift basket full of goodies for Brian to take home. Brian enjoyed his chats with all the staff at Huron Tractor Ltd and he thinks he was able to teach them a thing or two.
