Southbridge acquired Bayfield Manor, a 66 nursing bed & 57 suite retirement home in Kemptville, Ontario as of late yesterday.

“We are pleased to welcome Bayfield’s residents and staff into the Southbridge family,” remarked Mike Petersen, President & CEO of Southbridge Capital Inc. “Our hope is that together, we can continue to build upon the great sense of community in the home, while delivering excellence in care and services.”

This acquisition is strategic for the Southbridge network given its close proximity to other Southbridge homes in the surrounding Ottawa area. With the acquisition of Bayfield Manor, Southbridge now employs over 2,300 people in 18 cities across Ontario, providing quality care for 2,200 residents in a blend of long-term care homes and retirement facilities.
