Regency Resident no longer feeling crabby after Bridge to Dreams takes him for lobster dinner

Regency resident Glenn has always loved seafood, so the staff at Regency Long-Term Care, through Southbridge’s Bridge to Dreams initiative, prepared a lobster dinner with shrimp and scallops for Glenn to enjoy.

Glenn said “it was like heaven,” and was so happy to have gotten this opportunity to enjoy this amazing dinner.

Bridge to Dreams is a resident-centered initiative developed by Southbridge Care Homes in partnership with the homes it operates. The program encourages seniors to rekindle their passions and encourages them to celebrate life to the fullest.

“The Bridge to Dreams program is a purposeful way for us to honour our residents in meaningful ways, and together with the direct support of staff, we were able to do just that,” remarked Southbridge Chief Executive Officer Ryan Bell.

Regency Long Term Care Home, situated in the historical Town of Port Hope on the lovely shores of Lake Ontario, is a 60-bed long term care home.
